Hey friends! I am so excited to share part one of my Spring home tour with you today, my entryway! I had planned to bring you the entire Spring Tour all at once, but I have been having a horrible time downloading and editing my pictures and it has set me back. I used Picasa to do my downloads and basic edits for three years, and it is no longer. So it has really thrown me for a loop. So because I am still not finished editing my pictures, I have decided to do my Spring Home Tour in segments. I made the Spring wreath you see here last summer. The only thing I added this year is the letter P. I painted it green to match my bow, and I attached it with a bit of twine.
This white hanging bucket always hangs in my entry, and I just change it out with the seasons. This Spring I dressed it up with some pink peonies and a burlap bow. The Easter eggs you see hanging here were purchased at Walmart a couple of years ago, and I just tied them to a piece of jute. They hung in this same spot last Spring as well.
Isn't this Fuchsia and gold bag the cutest thing you've ever seen? Bought it at a consignment shop for next to nothing in the Fall! It will make an awesome beach bag. I made the pom pom branch you see below. You can read all about it here.
I printed this cute Hello Spring Printable on my own printer, and hung it in this frame. I love to use free Printables for seasonal decor. You can find this printable by clicking here.
The glass object with the blue mason jar inside is part of the old outdoor light that was on our front stoop. I sat a blue mason jar inside of it has has little LED lights in it because I like to have a nightlight here at night. The old tobacco box was a Christmas gift from LC. He knows me well!
This chandelier was here when we bought the house. I hate the globes, so if you notice one of them is missing, it is because I removed it. I am planning on purchasing new ones to give this chandelier a little update. I wanted to take one of them with me for size. So far I haven't found what I am looking for. I would love to replace the whole light, but for now, I'll settle for new globes.
I just love my colorful Spring entryway! This entryway has come so far from where it was when we moved in. A split level home is not my favorite, but I have done my best to make it as functional as it can be. I hope you enjoyed this first part of my home tour. I have some fun and easy Easter projects to share with you tomorrow, so stay tuned! Have a great Hump day!
