Sweet Parrish Place Style {Vol. 4}

Hey all!  Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same.  These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion.  I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways.  I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice.

This was probably my favorite outfit of the week, for the mere fact that I felt comfy and cozy wearing it all day long.  this open sweater is old, I wish I could direct you wear to buy one because I love it, but I have had it for a few years.

Long Sweater- (old) Via Gabriel Brothers
Long sleeve white T shirt- American Eagle
Black skinny jeans- American Eagle

I bought these rain boots a few weeks ago.  It is difficult to photograph them, they are actually tartan.  If you click the link under the photo, you will see a much better photo of them on the Macy’s website.

Rain Boots- Ralph Lauren via Macy’s
Scarf- Gap (old) similar
Bracelets- White House Black Market (old)
We took some friends out to dinner on Saturday night and this is what I wore.  I really liked it a lot better in person than I do in the pictures, which were taken at night after we got home.  I love this dress, it is one of the most versatile dresses I own.  You can see it styled completely differently here.  You can also see what the dress likes way more if you see the other outfit.

Tan jacket- J Crew (old) Found it on Ebay!
Scarf- Elder Beerman similar
You can’t really tell in the pictures, but the tights I am wearing had a diamond pattern.  And again, I say these booties are the best things I have bought in years!  And bonus- they are 40% off right now!  You can see other ways I have worn them here, here, and here.

Booties- Nordstrom

This was casual Friday last week.  I love this tunic sweater with leather pockets that I bought at J Crew Factory recently.  I will wear this so many times!

Polka dot skinny jeans- Gap (sold Out) similar
Riding boots- Nine West (old) similar

Tunic Sweater- J Crew Factory (not on the website)
Leopard Infinity Scarf- similar

Red is one of my favorite colors, and this skirt is one of my favorite skirts.  I bought it at American Apparel last fall, and I wish they still carried it, because I would literally buy it in every color.  I love the high waist, the fit, and the length.  Not to mention it is super comfy.  The plaid shirt I am wearing was purchased in the men’s department last winter at Gap.

Skirt- American Apparel (sold out)
Plaid shirt- Gap similar
Boots- J Crew (old) similar
Denim Jacket- Gap
plaid and sparkle
Necklace- Forever 21
Cross Bracelet- Etsy Shop

I wore this to a Cross Country dinner on Sunday evening.  Did I tell you that Mr. 14 Year Old’s Cross Country Team won the West Virginia State Championship for the second year in a row last weekend?  It is so exciting!  I bought this cape at a little boutique in Pittsburgh recently, so I can’t source it for you.  But I do love it, and will probably wear it for years.

Boyfriend jeans- Gap (old) similar
Ankle boots- similar

I love the ruffly tiers on this cape.

This outfit I wore to work was inspired by this Pin.  Seems like all of my pants are too loose (which is not a bad thing), but I just can’t bring myself to buy a smaller size because I know that if I gain two pounds they will be too snug!  I bought these really cute boot cuffs a few weeks ago online, and for the life of me, I can’t remember what website I got them from.

Khaki skinny pants- Old Navy (old) similar
Gingham blouse- similar
Black Sweater- old
Black Boots- Ralph Lauren
