This grey maxi skirt is one of my favorite skirts. It is literally sweatshirt material, and is just as cozy as a pair of sweats.

On Oct.1st, everyone wore pink to work for breast cancer awareness. These neon pink pants fit the bill.

Did you read my 10 staples for your fall wardrobe post? One of the things on my shopping list was a pair of black riding boots. And I found the perfect pair. At Gabriel Brothers, no less! I stopped by there after work one day on a whim and they have a whole rack of Ralph Lauren Riding boots. I bought these for $50, and they are genuine leather. I love this outfit. I mixed this khaki summer shirt dress with black, white, and animal print and I dig the combination.

This tunic is from L.Mae Boutique. I actually won a $50 credit to this store from fashion blogger Laura at Walking in Memphis in High Heels. I chose this tunic and a bracelet that is not pictured with my credit. This was what I was wearing to go to work on Friday for casual Friday, but while on the way to work I received a phone call that my daughter had been in a car accident. So I didn’t end up making it to work that day. And thank God in Heaven her only injuries were caused from the air bag deploying. If you scroll to the bottom of this post, I included a picture of her car. We haven’t officially heard from the insurance company yet, but we are guessing it is totaled.

This was Sunday afternoon. I took Mr. 14 Year old to the mall shopping for some school clothes. This flannel shirt was left here by Our Swedish Daughter when she went back to Sweden.

And look at these two adorable ladies. They are both teachers at work, and they co teach together- English. The class was reading a novel about a 50’s housewife, and they dressed up in clothes from the 50’s. They belong to on of the ladies’ mom, and she actually wore them back in the 50’s and kept them! I was dying over them All. Day. Long. so adorable. I wish I could squeeze one thigh into one of these dresses! These women are pint sized, ha!
And here is the picture I promised of Miss 18 Year Old’s car. We are super sad that she probably won’t be driving this car again, it was a good little car. But a car can be replaced, and my daughter can’t. So all is well in the world.
