What I Wore Wednesday- June 25, 2013

Welcome to my Weekly WIWW post!  Every week, for several months now, I have been taking pictures of my outfits and joining the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy.  These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion.  I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. So without further ado, here is what I have been wearing for the last week!
I went to Charleston, WV for a meeting and I wore this.  The pink pants are broken in straight khaki’s from Gap.  You can see how I styled these pink pants last fall here.  The grey peplum shirt is American Eagle- a recent find from Marshall’s.  The brown wedges are forever old, from Old Navy.

This was something I threw on to take Mr. 6 Year Old to swim class, and then grocery shopping.  Not gonna lie, I chose a maxi dress because I needed to shave my legs.  Love me.  This dress is another item that I bought years ago at Target, and I think I paid $10 for it on clearance!  I checked and they still carry a black maxi dress that is almost exactly the same as mine.  I have had it for 7 years and have worn it countless times.

I decided to change it up a little with this dress and tie it in a knot at the bottom.  I wish I could remember where I got the animal print flip flops.

I wore this shorts outfit to take Mr. 14 Year Old to get his very first iPhone!  T-shirt is from Hollister, and the grey shorts are from Gap, and they are currently on sale for $27.99.  I love these shorts, they are the perfect length and perfect casual shorts.

This is what I wore to church on Saturday evening.  This skirt was a Goodwill find last summer.  I forgot to get a picture of the back of my shirt, the back of it is lace.  Oh well, I will try to remember the next time I wear it.

The scarf is my new favorite.  I found it at Marshall’s for only $5.99. I love the print, the colors, and the pom pom detail around the edges.  I could not believe the price when I picked up the tag to look at it!

And this was another swim lesson day, and then to the library for a class for Mr. 6 Year Old.  They made their own lava lamps!  I also bought this dress last summer at Goodwill.  Such an easy thing to throw on and go!  Which is exactly what I did on this day.

Thank you so much for stopping by today to check out my WIWW post! If you would like to stalk any other WIWW posts that I have done, you can find them by clicking right here.  I also have a Pinterest board you might be interested in checking out called Outfits I can recreate.  It is full of outfits I have pinned for inspiration for my own outfits. I also post peeks of my outfits of the day on my Instagram frequently, and would love for you to hop over and follow me!

Happy hump day!

Before I go, thought I would share this sale with you over at Mod Cloth.  I love their bathing suits.  I bought a really cute retro two piece from them!
