What I Wore Wednesday

Welcome to my What I Wore Wednesday post!  This is the day of the week when I link up my weekly outfits to The Pleated Poppy. And I hate to disappoint, but I only have two outfits for you this week.  We had one snow day last week, and two so far this week, so I have spent most of the past week in my ugly clothes.  You don’t want to see them, trust me.  I thought about saving these for next week, but I know how you all look so forward to this post every week, that I decided to put what little I have out there!  And if you know me at all, you know that I was being totally sarcastic in that last sentence, ha!  Anyway, enjoy!

This was a typical work day.  I have owned this skirt for longer than I have been married to LC, if that tells you anything.  And to this day I love it as much as I did when I bought it.  Thank you, Gap!  I like the juxtaposition of the sequins and the denim.  Yes, I know big words.

This is casual Friday.  I like the various stripes, but in the same color family, and then the plaid scarf in yet the same color family.  It might not be for everyone though.  You can see another way I styled this cardigan here

Well, that was short and sweet, wasn’t it?  I am hoping and praying that we won’t have any more snow.  I mean, I like snow days as much as everybody, but if the snow doesn’t stop, the flowers don’t bloom.  And I am ready for flowers, ya know what I mean?

If you would like to peruse my other WIWW posts, please click here.  I would love to have you join me back here next week, or any day of the week, for that matter.

I forgot to mention this morning that I am over on JOYful Home and Life today sharing my painted subway tile backsplash.  This DIY project has been my most popular project I have done so far, so run over there and check it out if you have a second!

Happy hump day!
