What I Wore Wednesday

Welcome to my weekly What I Wore Wednesday post!  I am linking up with The Pleated Poppy again today to show some of my weekly outfits.  Mid- January is about the time that I start feeling just plain blah, how about you?  It is cold and dreary outside, and I always feel the ugliest during these cold winter months. Am I alone in these feelings?  I really need a boost right now, so I am trying to get back into the swing of things, putting some effort into what I am wearing.

We are currently undergoing a nightmarish sewage problem at our house and I have had to send all but my youngest to friends and relatives to stay, and last night I finally broke down and got a hotel room.  So this week has been a bad week.  I will do a post about what has been happening at home when it is all over and done with.  Because of all of this I only have a few outfits to show you, so here they are!

All of my outfits are things I have worn to work in the past week.  I love this polka dot sweater my mom bought me for Christmas!  It is from H & M.  It seems like I am constantly pairing these green jeans with black and white.  You can see other ways I have styled these jeans here and here.  The infinity Scarf was another Christmas gift, from the Gap.  I also wore it with this sweater.

This wool hounds tooth skirt was a recent Goodwill find, from Talbots.  I got the inspiration for the way I styled the skirt from this picture.  It is not exactly same, but you can see where I got the inspiration to add the yellow.  I got lots of compliments on this outfit.

This was another cold day that I wished I didn't have to get out of bed.

And when it is freezing cold at night, this is what you will find me wearing, my PJ's, My fluffy robe, and my Hot Booties!  You warm these things up in the microwave before you put them on.  LC bought them for me for Christmas because last winter I kept stealing Miss 17 Year Olds.  I love them!  Sometimes I even warm them up right before bed and get under the cool covers with them on.

Thanks for stopping by today to check out my WIWW post, and if you would like to see my other WIWW posts, you can click right here.

And can I make just one small request?  If you are the praying kind, please say a prayer for my family, that our sewage problems will be fixed today and we can all move back into our home and be together.  You don't ever truly appreciate the comforts of home until you don't have them.  It makes me think about all of the people in Charleston, WV who have been without water recently.  Pray for them too.
