Welcome to my What I Wore Wednesday post today! In case you have never been here before, I have been linking up with The Pleated Poppy every Wednesday with pictures of my outfits for that previous week. I am trying to purge my closet, and to wear what I have in new and different ways. I have 4 days of work left, so I am getting super excited for summer break! My kids have been off since late last week. I cannot wait to join them!
I am proud to say that I finished my very first 5K this past weekend! I participated in the Derick Hotsinpillar's Fallen Star Memorial 5K in Bridgeport. No, I did not run, I walked, but I still did it and I had fun And it was for a fantastic cause. Mr. 13 year old came in 7th place in the under 15 year old group! Below are a couple of pictures of me, LC, and two of my girlfriends who also participated. This is what I wore. exciting right? I am sorry to say that I do not own many fancy workout clothes. It is sad really. I need to get with the program I guess, but I hate spending money on work out clothes!
The days of getting dressed and ready for work are over for me. From here on out, I will be moving files, and cleaning up to close up for the year, so it will be shorts and Tshirts for me for a while.
Seersucker shorts- The Limited
Mint ruffle shirt- J Crew Factory
Green cardigan- Banana Republic
Wedges- old Navy
I have all of these cute skirts and dresses that I never even wore this spring because it was so cold! So I wanted to squeeze in this orange skirt before the work year ended.

Sandals- can't remember for the life of me

Have I mentioned that is is freezing in my school? Probably 100 times! I think my feet were blue on this day from being so cold!

Yesterday I went prepared for the cold! And for comfort! Time to start working in the file room. Lots to do to end out the year. Permanent records are my responsibility.

I am starting to grow uninspired to get up early and get all ready every day. I am ready for sundresses, bathing suits, tank tops, and summer! How about you?
